To support our rapid growth in North America, we’re looking for a Business Development Manager with a passion for materials innovation, who can help us accelerate adoption of bamboo-based compounds in the automotive, infrastructure, and technical sectors.
Your responsibilities
- Grow and manage relationships with OEMs, Tier 1s, and compounders in the automotive and composites industry
- Understand customer requirements and collaborate with our technical teams to shape custom material solutions
- Lead the full sales process from outreach to deal closure, including pricing, contracts, and long-term planning
- Monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities
- Represent Bambooder at industry events and trade shows in North America and beyond
- Help build the brand and positioning of Bambooder in a new market
Your profile
- Degree in engineering, materials science, business or similar field
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience in composites, plastics, or related technical sectors (automotive is a plus)
- Strong network within the automotive or industrial manufacturing ecosystem
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on attitude
- Willingness to travel (up to 30%)
